The models of the Madonna in different woods are captivating. Wonderfully explained by the custodian. So different to all the other churches. A very special place.

This exhibition is not one that is shouted about, but it should be (from the rooftops). A spiritual and moving experience.

We came across this church by accident and were charmed to discover the exhibition inside. The assistant explained the significance of the madonna sculpture, which was such a clever and inspired idea for a work of art. We were really impressed.

A small church interior has been converted into a showcase for an artwork based around multiple renditions of a gorgeous, abstract, sculpture of the Virgin Mary, designed to be held in the hand. We happened across this by accident, and were delighted we did.

Fell into this church tucked away on a back street of Assisi. After the crowded, tourist-filled famous cathedral, this was an oasis for the mind and spirit. Beautifully explained by a devotee of the artist and his work, this installation will warm your heart and...More
