This street runs from the Basilica to Arco de Seminario, where it changes name to Via Arnaldo Fortini. It is lined with shops, restaurants, hotels/inns and historical buildings.

This road runs from the Basilica di San Francesco d'Assisi towards Piazza del Comune. It is lined with numerous shops and restaurants all situated within very old buildings. As you stroll this street, you can almost image, as it was in ancient times.

We were lucky enough to get a glimpse of Papa Francesco as he visited the town this morning. Following that we strolled & shopped along this road- lovely time

A very nice old street to walk after visiting the basilica . Shops ,restaurants ,galleries , all in old buildings . Go up to the main square.

This is a nice walk from St Clare's Basilica to St Francis' Basilica. Lots to see, plenty of shops and a feel for the real Assisi. We enjoyed it very much>
