San Chiara is an amazing and peaceful church dedicated to one of St.Francis' followers - St.Clare. Please spend some time in this basilica to see the collection of St.Francis simple robes made by her for him. A very spiritual visit..

I loved the area, it's beautiful inside and out. Lot to see in the town. The stores and cafes are great to visit.

Just minutes from her more famous protégé, St. Francis, Saint Clare rests in this beautiful basilica. Easily accessible with ample parking this is a must see when in Assisi.
