This is the site where the relics of St Clare is kept. The Cross of St Damiano is also kept here - this is the cross that spoke to St Francis.

Great connections with St Francis. St Clare hung out with Francis. Cool information in many languages. Tomb of St Clair very interesting as well as the remnants of the cross St Francis prayed to.

Some great art work and a wonderful nave. Worth the walk through town to get here and take a look. The outside isn't much but you will be pleasantly surprised by the inside.

Beautiful, immaculate basilica on a stunning piazza with a grand territorial view. The carousel in front was a family magnet. We watched the preparations for the upper (blue) and lower (blue) neighborhood competitions. Flags everywhere

I learned a lot about St. Clare here. The church is worth visiting, particularly to see the relic downstairs. There is an alb that Claire was supposed to have made that looks like it would fit a 400 lb. man.
