There are no original artworks in Vinci anymore, just reproductions. I was a bit disappointed by that. The entrance fee in a combi of museum, birth house and an exposition. Still, it was nice to walk where the great man himself walked.

Leonardo’s birthplace is included in the museum ticket at Vinci. It’s a lovely place, interesting to see and a great video on his life (English and Italian)

Leonardo da Vinci was one of the first Physicists, and if you've visited the museo, you should probably make the effort to visit his home where the genius grew up. He was one of the great minds 500 years before his time, and being a...More

as part of the visit to the Museo Leonardiano, you get to visit the small town of Anchiano, where the birthplace house of Leonardo is located, is on top of a hill, with nice views and an interesting video on the life of the Genius.

We had a docent led tour of this home. It included a movie giving insight into DiVincis life and perspective. Great way to learn about DiVinci.

From Vinci to his birth house is only a 2 minutes drive. Its location is nice, but the house itself does not show to much. Only a hologram of Leonardiano telling the story. This is quite nice

Beautiful setting, evocative, and informative. Particularly the 3D virtual tour of his life which we were reluctant to watch as it was 22 mins, but it did give a sense of his life.

Entertaining and enlightening visit. Amazing to think that the man himself lived there, touched those walls, walked in those stones. If you go to the tourist info centre in Vinci they will call a shuttle for you (€1 each way) to take you/bring you back...More

To me it was a special feeling to walk in the house were once lived Da Vinci. The environment is beautiful and at this moment there was a well maintained exhibition with a videomontage about Da Vinci
