It's well worth while including this in any visit to the cathedral proper. Lovely ceiling and frescos.

As a standalone site, the Baptistery seems a little plain after the grand magnificence of the Duomo, the amazing sculptures and art in the Museo, and the ancient artifacts and designs of the Crypt but it is worth a stroll through the aisles to take...More

This is a really beautiful place. Inadvertently, we left it until last of the parts of the Duomo to visit and it is full of wonderful things. My advice would be to buy an all inclusive opa plus pass including the Porta di Cielo- which...More
