Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small little church that’s now unfortunately locked up. It’s build of old stone which is really attractive.

This is a lovely brick church and one of the many churches worth seeing around Pisa. Sadly it doesn't seem to be open to the public so who knows what delights are inside.

This is a beautiful stone building worth seeing as it's next door to Cavalieri Square. The church was not open so I cannot comment on the inside.

The Church of San Sisto was built in the Romanesque style between 1087 and 1133 in the center of Pisa near the Piazza del Knights. Previously, there was a church on this site from an earlier year of construction.

The Church of San Sisto is located a short distance from Piazza dei Cavalieri and among the ancient Pisan churches built in the eleventh century it is the one that maintains the simple original structure, in rough-hewn stone and almost devoid of decoration except for the ceramics on the arches. We found it closed and I cannot therefore judge the interior but the exterior deserves attention in its essential forms.

It is a rectangular church with a square bell tower. The church is not very sculpted on the outside, however the stones are pretty to see. Next to this church, there is a parking lot.
