Quick Visit

Worth a visit. You wander around and mostly see the burial urns and frescoes on the walls. Cool on a hot day.

The building is quite nice, but the exhibits are nothing special. If you have few time, better contentrate on the dome area. Only go there, if you really have spare time.

A very impressive building with fabulous murals although many still undergoing restoration. Special displays help understand the history of this Museo.

I thought this museum stored the frescos from the Campo Santo buildings while they were being restored from the fire of World War II. There were line drawings on the walls in this ultra modern [inside] of the old building, but once I realized the frescos with colors were still on the walls of the other building, I couldn't leave... We got here in the afternoon and there were no tickets left to see the museum. We were able to walk the grounds and take all the famous photos with the Leaning Tower. We both decided Pisa was off our bucket list and no need to return.

It’s one of those museums where every exhibit has its own story, so you have to visit this place preferably with an experienced guide, he/she can tell you about each of them in detail. Hall of treasures is truly unforgettable place, it makes an fantastic impression on people.

There is not a great deal to see here. If one is on a tight schedule than this can be given a skip. We stood in the queue to enter and were taken aback a little!

This is part of the cathedral visit. The statues are quite interesting but. You have to stand in a long queue for up to 30 minutes to climb to the top of the wall. They only allow a couple of dozen people through at any one time so you may have to wait a long while to get to the... More

It's an average museum with videos about the issues of the Pisa tower and some models of the structure of the tower which Is meant to provide some insight about the place though I am sure you can get a better insight from a good guide book or the internet.
