We hired bikes in corso garabaldi, and had a wonderfull ride around the wall, very scenic. The wall is very wide, and plenty of space for pedestrians, and bicycles. There is also a very nice restaurant on the wall, i can recommend

Peaceful to strole and the views are amazing. The wall is surrounded by trees wich encompass this medieaval city of only 6000 residents. In the distance are the wonderful luchesse hills.

Worth taking your time to admire this city's beauty from above when in Lucca. Green and peaceful but lively at the same time

The walls of Lucca are like a public roof top terrace. Such a great place to picnic and people watch.

We cycled it clockwise then turned and did it anticlockwise. The next day we walked round. Other times we found a sunny spot between the trees & sat with a bottle of wine. I wished I had one of these at home!
