I was intrigued by the exterior as seen from the City Walls so I took a walk over to see the church. It was very simple inside and there wasn't anything going on. Apparently I missed the museum! :(

A school choir from England were singing at the Saturday evening Mass which was magical. Mother superior was delightful. Not really a tourist attraction, very much a place for those pilgrims devoted to the Saint who is laid to rest in the alter.

The church building is simple and not a turistic attraction. This church is very important for those devoted to Santa Gemma. And of course the remains of Santa Gemma are there. Many people from South America come on pilgrimage to this church.
