Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

By Florence standards this church is simple. By USA standards it is gorgeous. Peace and tranquility will give yo time to think and refresh before venturing out again.

I simply loving visiting old churches, cathedrals, etc. in Europe as most are free to enter, although we didn't find that so much in Florence, which was very disappointing. Nonetheless, we stumbled upon this gem one afternoon and when we went in there happened to be a special Mass going and we opted to stay and quietly watch. Watching the special Mass, we learned from an attendee the two young men that were part of the Mass were about to set off to serve the Pope in Rome. Wow, what an honor to witness and be an extended part of this lovely Mass. We were welcomed by the group in attendance, was wall as the priest that presided over the Mass.
I approached the priest after the Mass and he explained the crystal cruet that was being used.

Church of Sant'Ambrogio is an interesting site. It is obviously quite old, with some records going as far back as the 10th century, while others put it well before this date. It's a lovely site and it merits a visit if you are in the area.
