When visiting Piazzale Michelangelo its worth taking time to pop into this tranquil Rose garden. Well laid out of several levels of the hill you can enter at the top entrance on Viale Guiseppi Poggi and exit through a small door in the brick wall...More

Just stumbled upon these gardens. Beautiful spot for a walk amongst florals and chirping birds. Good photo op of the city.

Perfect place to calm and enjoy beautiful Florence views. The garden at spring time is full of roses. Don't forget to see the statues!

Nice place even on a rainy December day, probably in spring and summer it looks even better. Don't miss it on your way to piazzale Michelangelo

When you go (and you must) to Florence and to Piazza Michelangelo to see the most beautiful sunset over the city, take some minutes to visit this public garden and take pictures of the stunning views.

This Garden on top of a hill near Piazzale Michelangelo is a beautiful place for a beautiful view of Florence. It is a very calm relaxing way to have a break from the crowded streets as well. And I love Roses.

Overload and fatigue can be the byproduct of 'doing' Florence. This modest sanctuary is a delight. Even a rose garden in January can offer peace, calm and tranquil beauty without a bloom in sight. A lasting living legacy. Very special.

just below Piazzale Michelangelo is the Rose Garden. It's green and beautiful, it's peaceful and serene. As hundreds of people hustle and bustle in Piazzale Michelangelo, there is only a handful of people in the rose garden. We saw one girl studying in the grass....More

OK, not all roses were in bloom, yet there were a good few roses, chilis, oranges, lemons, olives, apricots and the garden was all empty. Good for a picnic on a the odd nice day in October.
