What an incredible cultural experience in Manuela's kitchen! The class was fun, interactive, and of course delicious. Very personal, Manuela adapts to your preferences and tastes. We chose to do an Sicilian region style class, preparing a delicious four course meal (including homemade cannoli!). We learned so many new tips and techniques that we'll use at home. If you want... Manuela makes you feel like family. My 14-year-old daughter and I took her class on a cold rainy morning. Allison from Canada/England joined us in our pasta making and it was a party. We spent several hours and Manuela is a patient and encouraging teacher. She presents options for you to choose from and is so accommodating. Our food was... More

This is a 5 star experience through and through! Everything about this 1/2 day class is unbelievable. Host and cooking lead, Manuela is a gem. She is friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable but most of all knows how to take your trip to Italy to another level! She immerses you in a full on sensory experience to cooking. Smelling ingredients, touching and... More

I burn pancakes (really), but after spending a few hours with Manuela and the other students, I feel like I can tackle @ home the items we cooked in her wonderful kitchen. Even my 13 year old daughter, who joined me, is excited to try it at home. And when the taxi cabs were on strike, her husband, Simone, made... More

Manuela and her husband were an absolute joy to meet. Manuela made us feel right at home and she was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I consider myself a fairly good cook so I was very happy to learn knew techniques from Manuela. If you have a passion for food and would enjoy a more private one on one experience then... More

A wonderful time cooking and talking with Manuela and her sweet family in her kitchen. Not only was the food and cooking incredible, but it was a delightful evening and an adventure taking the bus to her flat and back without being able to speak Italian. Thank you for arranging this for us on such short notice! We have cooked... More

My husband and I had a wonderful time learning how to make a traditional Tuscan meal with Manuela this past Christmas. She welcomed us to her lovely home and patiently walked us through everything step-by-step and offered some variations of traditional Tuscan fare. Manuela had all of the ingredients fresh from the market presented and ready for prep. After cooking,... More

There are many cooking classes in Florence to chose from when looking through TA but this one is very special. You are invited into the home of a beautiful Italian family's apartment and are treated to some home recipes of the host, Manuela. Its a warm and welcoming environment and an opportunity to experience what every-day life in Italy is... More

This was hands down one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. From the initial enquiry and booking through to the actual day, Manuela was easy to communicate with and very informative. She was so hospitable inviting us into her home, where she had all the fresh ingredients laid out, and her encouraging hands on approach was lovely. We... More

Getting to spend an afternoon with Manuela in her home, meeting her family and getting cooking tips while we made a delicious meal was a real highlight of our trip!
