The tour was extremely well organised and we enjoyed it very much. The tour managed to fit a great variety and the feel of Tuscan history. We took the tour for Siena, San Giminiano, Monterigioni and a very fun Chianti Wine Tasting. The tour allowed sufficient time to see each place without being rushed.

I don't like a big group tours, but it was reccomended by friends, we did Siena and San Gimignano , was very well organised with knowledgeable guide. I think better to do it in summer time to enjoy both places .Good experience.

We booked this through another site, but the tour was made up of 3 different groups together; a little confusing at first but did not matter. We went to Sienna, San Giammanco and Pisa. Our guide was Antonio-very friendly, informative, and helpful. All together a great day.

We booked a day trip through another site to see Pisa, Sienna and San Giammanco. The trip was run through Ciaoflorence, so there were 3 "groups" making up our 1 tour; a little confusing at first, but did not matter. Our guide was Antonio and he was wonderful-friendly, easy going, and informative. Not too much time in each place, but... More

This tour is so worth it. In just one day, you get to see 3 amazing cities and also the beautiful Italian country side. We also enjoyed the lunch and wine tasting, though it didn't offer a great selection of wine (only two to be honest), but still it was nice. The only problem with the tour is that by the... More

The pizza and gelato making course was so much fun for our family of four. We are a family with two teens. Present was also a family with elementary aged children who also seemed to enjoy the course. This was a great experience to start off our week long visit to Florence. Davide, our instructor was a great teacher and... More

We booked a day trip to Pisa and Lucca from Florence through Viator, not knowing which tour company we were signing up with. What a mistake! We showed up at the meeting point and were barked orders to wait in the park nearby. The organiser then yelled at my husband when he walked across the street to throw something in... More

Hello madam, your review leaves us speechless. It is clearly written by someone who is totally wrong and who is trying to defame our Agency because is angry. The main point is that you arrived late at the meeting point in Pisa and, for your fault, you missed the second part of the tour. The rest of the group (the... More

My wife & I enjoyed the whole tour. The Tour Guide & Coach driver were fantastic We stopped off at the Palagetto winery which was to supply a typical three course lunch When we arrived our tables were jammed in between wine casks with two many people on each table. The meal & wine tasting were an absolute disgrace and... More

Hello Sir, thank you for your feedback. It seems that the only thing that you did not like about our Tuscany tour was the lunch at Palagetto winery. We usually have very good feedback about that wine estate, since it has a great location at the foothills of San Gimignano and great food and wines. Anyway we will do further... More

I took the SIENA, SAN GIMIGNANO, MONTERIGGIONI & CHIANTI tour and it was fantastic! The staff was extremely attentive and it was one of the more affordable priced Tuscany tours. It was a great balance of structure and free time. I recommend that you pay for the tour sponsored lunch because it's delicious and worth it with several courses. The... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The pleasant atmosphere of this residential area, a stone’s throw away from the Duomo of Florence, surprises everyone. A continuous flow of backpacking students provides the tranquil surroundings for the elderly residents who sit in Piazza San Marco to read the daily newspaper. Home to several universities, including the Academy of Fine Arts, San Marco is one of the most vibrant cultural centers in the city. A bridge connecting the modern cultural activity of Florence to its classic art, represented by the everlasting magnificence of the original David, resonates as a symbol of Florence and of Italy as a whole. Get lost in a Neoclassic world, a journey back in time through historic buildings like Spedale degli Innocenti (Hospital of the Innocents), San Marco church, Basilica della Santissima Annunziata, and natural jewels like the Botanical Gardens.
