If you are looking for an experience like no other, then you can rest assured that you found the right one! The morning began with a beautiful walk in the woods with Francesca and her amazing truffle finding pup, CHOCO!!! (Any dog who loves truffles is A okay in my book!) we found a bunch of spring whites and summer... More

Francesca and Hilary were wonderful and gracious hosts, instructors, and truffle hunters. We had an incredibly memorable experience and would recommend it anyone who wants to see how it feels to live in such a wonderful place with people that feel deep connection to their home and heritage.

My friend and I were interested in learning more about truffles, so we booked the Chianti and Truffle tour. And while costly you get what you put in. We had more fresh white truffle than we anticipated, drank more wine than a typical "tasting" and learned a TON about Wine, Truffles and even current events/tuscan culture from our knowledgeable guide... Since it is white truffle season, we wanted a fun adventure that was authentic and hands-on, so we were interested in actual truffle hunting. Francesca's truffle hunt and lunch tour was excellent! We also went to San Miniato's truffle festival, which is worthwhile, but being at the Truffle Hunter's huge farm and seeing the trained dog at work was far... More

Highly recommended for those that enjoy learning about food/wine and hiking in the woods. The day starts at the pickup location in Florence where you meet your driver/guide (in our case Jacimo) along with the other guests (up to 8 - we had 3 others). You ride in a van for about an hour outside of Florence towards Pisa and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our day in the woods with Francesca and Choco and then in some very lovely vineyards and farms to sample their lovely wines and produce. Hillary, our guide, is very passionate about her country and it was a pleasure to listen to her talk about the food, history, culture and of course, wine, in the Tuscan region... More

This was such a fun thing to do in Italy! It's about 1/2 hour outside Florence so you need a car or they'll pick you up for an extra fee. We met at the Villa and they provided boots - thank goodness because it was so muddy. We were in a group of about 8, plus the guide, the truffle... More

This was such a cool experience... we found 4 white truffles and 1 black on our hunt. It was so much fun to watch Choco the truffle hunting dog and see how it's done! We were in for a real treat afterwards with the lunch. The food we had was incredible, and it was also paired with some excellent wine... More

The truffle hunt was very interesting, Choco, the dog, sniffed around and, when he got the scent of the truffles, he began digging until the guide told him to stop and then she dug gently to uncover the truffle. The luxury dinner was superlative. The food was fresh, local and focussed on truffles. The villa where the truffle hunt took... More
