This was my last stop in Florence and I am so glad I went in. The church is small but has the most beautiful tarbancle I’ve ever seen. It’s very quiet and peaceful and has some art. I went onto the museum which houses the original statues, that you see outside in the niches. They are stunning and worth viewing, especially the four crowned saints which is so detailed you can see the stubble! Finally, the upper floor has the most stunning views of Florence, giving you a panorama of the city, with the Duomo to one side and the Palazzo Vecchio to another. I didn’t climb the Duomo as both the heat and the wait seemed too much. This was such a delight. It was quiet and the stairs are manageable, although still a hike. I was so pleased I had left this to last as it did allow me to see Florence in all its glory. An unexpected delight.…

I was drawn to this Church by the Rick Steve Audio tour of Florence. Sadly, on the two occasions I visited, the Church was not open. A great shame - there are some very intersting statues on the outside and it would have been nice to take a look inside. Please could you make the opening hours clear! I'd be more than happy to make a donation to come and have a look round and I'm sure others would think the same. I'd love to be able to rank higher than 3*s but without knowing when the inside is open, it's difficult to reccomend the place to others. …

A small museum but a nice one. A good selection of statues in the upstairs gallery. And the price was right, free.

Church is beautiful in its own right...oil paintings, altar, ornate woodwork. The 2nd floor museum with original statues now protected inside are magnificent. Views from 2nd floor give a great prospective of Florence. Well worth the price...FREE. Restoration donations are appreciated. …
