This museum is one of the most comprehensive and well-organized museums in Florence. It's also one of the very few air conditioned museums, which is a plus if you visit during the summer months. If you intend to visit all 6 monuments in the piazza,...More

This museum is very well designed and has a wonderful collection. The ticket is included with the other tickets for Santa Maria del Fiore, the campanile and baptistry. There is a terrace to view the duomo. The standout pieces are the original baptistry doors, a...More

This museum was even better than I had imagined it to be, holding a big collection of artifacts and original artwork from the duomo that is definitely worth seeing. It is bigger than you would expect, so give yourself up to two hours to see...More

Although I have been to Florence 5 times now, I visited here for the first time this summer. It is worth it if you are interested in original work. It is small, but has some surprising finds. The original doors to the Baptistry are here,...More

Many beautiful paintings and statues. We only went in because the ticket to the Baptismal also gets you into the museum, but it was worth it if you have time. If you don't have a lot of time I would recommend the Baptismal over the...More

This air conditioned (vital if you've had a hot walk up the Dome!) collection was a great surprise. It is a modern and impressive building that is full of architectural gems. A full size (nearly!) replica of how the Duomo once looked is just one...More

An absolute surprise of a museum! Make sure you visit every floor! We started at the top (viewing platform), and then worked out way down. An absolute pleasure was had on each floor in terms of sharing knowledge, history and artefacts. You can easily lose...More

Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by
an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city.
The historic center is characterized by the immensity
of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the
brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does
not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni
Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is
enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
