After the steep climb we were rewarded by entering this beautiful Neo Gothic church dedicated to Saint Margaret of Cortona. The artworks inside are beautiful.

Such a beautiful church. I was expecting a small church that was not worth the walk up but I was wrong. Beautiful and totally worth the trip, the ceiling and art work did not disappoint

We had a wonderful walk up here from the center of town, which is not really very far away. Great views down to the valley and out to the surrounding town, a nice interior with some interesting art.

This beautiful church sits high above Cortona and is well worth a visit, with a large car park outside. Beautiful painted ceiling and lovely altar are very special. Sadly no information inside the Basilica, which would have been a bonus, good toilets outside, which, in...More
