Absolutely worth attending.....quaint opera house staffed by welcoming and enthusiastic door hosts, the concert featured Sicilian artists performing love duets. Well known operatic duets were warmly received by the audience. Not a lengthy evening but enough to ensure a fab night out. The performers were...More

We were staying in Taormina and decided to go to the "mini" opera. What a super night out. We are not opera buffs by any stretch of the imagination but were treated to a well presented range of opera classics delivered with a bit of...More

Very enjoyable evening with pianist, soprano and tenor. Amusing encore at the end! 25 mins each half plus interval with a glass of prossecco (or water) included on the beautiful roof terrace, overlooking the square.

Even if you are not opera enthusiasts, this is a lovely evening. The two singers were great and so enthusiastic as was the audience. A nice surprise were the solo pieces played by the excellent pianist. It is not a long performance. Including intermission with...More

I was positively surprised by this experience - I was initially quite sceptical (possibly used to overpriced overbooked and overall underwhelming evening evens on holiday) but super reasonably priced at €20 per ticket I found the performance one of the highlights of our week in...More

You don’t have to be an opera officianado to enjoy this. It’s very light with two performers and an excellent pianist. They sing songs you probably would have heard from well known Puccini and Verdi operas. It’s a lovely little theatre and at the interval...More

Hi Abby The show I saw was in the theatre in the town, it is inside. There are shows held in the Ancient Greek theatre which is the open but you will need to check whether there is anything on when you are visiting.

It is possible to access with a wheelchair arriving from via Don Bosco and not from the square below, there is a disabled bathroom on the same floor as the concert hall.
