To be fair, I came a little unprepared - I wasn't aware it was a pebble beach so my feet did indeed suffer. So please be more prepared than I was! Other than that, the water was clear and beautiful. Weather was perfect! It's a little gem in Taormina that I suggest people to visit.

Crystal clear waters and so many fish, we spent days here snorkeling, its an under water paradise! Its a must do for anyone visiting the area! We found it easy to get to using the local bus as it stops right at the top.

At least in winter. Its famouse for being crouded of people in summer, but during winter just a few tourists. Wonderful place to see sunset and walk. No service at all, no bar no pizzeria, nothing and beach quite dirty. After all if you are in the zone go and see sunset there.

The best way to get to this location from the town is by the cable car which operates all year round and is located just outside of town. We visited on a beautifull sunny day in December. So relaxing sitting by the beach watching the seagulls fishing and soaking up some sun in this wonderfull place. Just one negative thing... More

We were here during the winter and as part of a tour, so it was a short visit. Beautiful location. Too bad there's a lot of trash around and not taken care of very well. Long walk up and down the staircase, but worth it.

It's a beautiful place but too crowded during summer and boat companies (jet-ski, etc...) have no respect for the environment.

Isola Bella is a little haven of tranquility when you just want some time to chill out. It's an idyllic little cove reached by a winding set of steps. We happened upon it during some downtime while in Sicily for a friends wedding. You can go from lounging under an umbrella to cooling off in it's calm, azure waters. The... More

Lost opportunity- Isola Bella. This happened during my visit to Taormina Sicily last summer. As it was a one day trip from Malta- Valletta to Taormina and Etna, I had no idea about this paradise- Isola Bella. It all come out when our guide said that we are about to see a lonely special small island which used to belong... More
