Piazza that was used for executions in the past now is the place of charming little garden with Palermo's oldest tree - ficus benjamin .

As we strolled through the gardens it was surrouded on all sides by a flea market. Typically Sicilian, it was busy, loud and friendly.

Tucked away in the Kalsa district, this is an ideal spot to recharge your batteries, browse the street market or grab a drink from a nearby bar.

This is a beautiful garden with a giant ficus tree in the center. The area has a colorful history with hangings during the inquisition to a mafia killing in 1909.

My wife and I had just returned our car. We walked back to the hotel. On the way we stopped at this Garden and it was beautiful. It was a nice place to just sit and relax.

Lovely little gardens. We walked through these on our way from the cruise ship whilst heading into town. The Banyan trees were amazing – huge with fantastic exposed roots. It was a shame that the fountains were empty/dry and turned off as this would have...More

This is a lovely botanical gardens, with beautiful palms, cacti and banyan trees. Well worth coming to escape the oppressive July heat in Palermo. However saying this like so much of Palermo it needs investment, where is the shop, garden centre, a coffee shop or...More

Nice enough but not worth travelling too far for. The park is located in the Kalsa district, close to the coast and boasts busts and statues of several people famous from Palermo's history. However, there are more beautiful parks within the city that are worth...More
