This is a must do, not just to pay your respects to Santa Rosalia, but travelling up the windy and narrow road to the top, with panoramic views of Palermo. Your on top of Palermo!

Santa Rosalia is quite important to this city and I recommend that you visit the sanctuary; I believe you will find it interesting regardless of religious beliefs. This was my second visit and I would go again if I am ever in the vicinity.

There are nice views on the way to this place and very close by foot also a great sighseeing view overlooking to Palermo. This place is very close to Mondello beach, which is very beautiful too.
