Busy, crazy and fun place to visit on Saturday night..we went semi early since I hear it gets rough as midnight approaches..not surprised with cheap drinks everywhere. It was fun, tasty and a great place to experience street food and Palermo at night !

Interesting, vivid place. Daytime you can see (buy and taste) a nice colletion of several local Italian products here: fruits, fish, spices. There are some parts which function as some kind of flee market: you can buy old coins, telephones, books, postcards and whatever. It...More

From something I read in reviews, I expected a really vibrant, unique, bustling place and I was quiet disappointed. Vucciria is certainly not something it has been in the past. The market is dead. Maybe I cannot evaluate this place adequately because I have been...More

I looked and I looked and couldn't find much. If you want to see real street markets, Ballaro and Capo are infinitely better.

Maybe there has been a marked La Vucciria once. But today, no. A dead broccoli and two fish. That's all. Go and see the marked in Ballaro instead.

Music, bars, drinks, food, people. This is a place you must visit if you like to get lost in a city you don't know. Everything happens in here and everybody is in here.

All though it has gotten a lot smaller from when I've been there as a child, it still is a great place to experience real Sicilian culture, the amazing street foods and little shops, this is definitely a place to visit. The tour bus does...More
