This is a great spot as you walk north on Via Etnea. Whilst not like Kew Gardens or Singapore Botanical garden it is nevertheless a most pleasing spot to wander around and you can get a useful plan of the site at the entrance. The...More

Free entry. A short walk up Via Etnea from the Bellini Gardens is the Catania Botanical Gardens. Not a huge area, but very well maintained and a perfect spot to sit in the shade on a hot day. Very interesting plant specimens - especially cacti...More

Very nice botanic garden with fantastic cactuses, but not only. It is worth to go there especially when it is hot, as you can find a lot of shadow there. This place is good for visitors in each age, there is no entrance fee.

Quick walk through, around 30-45 min, family liked it and so did I, many picture opportunities and not to far of the beaten path.

A good way to find some peace and quiet in Catania :) A large range of trees and plants are planted and the garden is very quiet, despite being on Via Etnea. You can easily bring a picnic lunch and eat it on a bench...More

I don't know but I don't see why not. It's only a small place, not a massive botanical garden.
