- Tim van IngenOsaka, Japan1 contributionA nice beach for the family, but nothing special.A decent beach if you want to spend some time with your family. It's a tourist spot, so there are lots of people and if you're not careful you'll end up paying good money for a seat and/or a parasol, but there are free spots aplenty as well. If you're looking for a beach with beautiful water and snorkeling opportunities though, this isn't it, and there are way better beaches a short drive away.Visited September 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 September 2023
- JoanneJ18 contributionsSardinia gem of an islandJust come back from a weeks stay here. It is a beautiful island not very touristy at all. The beaches are stunning with clear water brilliant for snorkelling. It is a little gem of a country, so much to explore. We hired a car and went round the north of the island where there are some stunning beaches. Just a couple of points, people don’t speak much English so it is worth learning a bit of Italian before you go. Our apparently universal travel plugs did not work over here so worth checking you have the correct plugs. Car parks are quite expensive by the beaches 2.50 euros an hour. There are very few sun beds on the beaches, most italians bring their own travel chairs. If you do find sunbeds they are 25 euros for 2 for the day. Food is fantastic, but not much meat on the menu. If you like fish and vegetables like I do you will be very happyVisited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 October 2023
- Sandra M26 contributionsBeautiful beachA lovely beach with white sand. A few beach bars/restaurants. Watch out for the vendors pestering you every 5 minutes though, best to ignore them or they won't go away. There is a beautiful coastal walk starting from this beach that I would recommend, only do a double-back because at the other end it leads you to a shipyard wasteland miles from anywhere.Visited May 2024Travelled with familyWritten 23 May 2024

Beautiful beach only a 20 minute bus ride from Olbia. Transport was easy and only €1 each way. There are sun beds available for hire (€7) and a couple of restaurant/bars for all your refreshment needs. We went in May and so not very busy but I would imagine that this would be different in the summer months. Highly recommend a day out at Pittalongu.

We came here while staying in Olbia. We arrived via bus as didn’t hire a car. The beach is pretty long with subbed hire available. There are a few beach bars/restaurants along the beach for food/drinks as we didn’t see any shops close by. The water was lovely and clear and pretty shallow for a good distance. Toilets and showers were available (pay to use) at one end of the beach. I would certainly recommend a visit to this beach.

Lovely long beach with lots of room. Sea warm and shallow. Lots of public areas not just lots of sunbeds owned by hotels. Small cafe selling ice cream/snacks etc.

Really nice beach! Good ambiance, calm en beautiful sea. Also enough beach restaurants/cafés to eat 🙏 I rented a bed for the day which was only 25eur. And it was worth all of the 25euros. I enjoyed myself soooo much at this beach! Would totally recommend to go.

A very nice beach with white sand and clear waters. They have two or three restaurants and a place where you can take a shower using coins. The beach is easy to reach by bus number 4 from the center of Olbia.

Ciao.
