Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely peice of history in a gorgeous city but not worth a special visit. From what was advertised (by third parties) guided tours were available but non were found. Still a beautiful church with history than can be learned from just popping in. Wouldn't stay longer than 20-30 minutes though.

Visited here on a recent stop off on our cruise. I always seek out churches and cathedrals when going on holiday, as I have always enjoyed religious architecture.
This is a very small church, but not disappointing at all. We spent less than an hour here, but really enjoyed it.

We visited on a Saturday. Very disappointed to seek this Basilica out only to find it was closed. Signage very poor and very quiet in the whole area, it was like Olbia was closed except the market.

The Basilica is open from 7am to 8pm, with guided tours and information, from Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays from 7am to 1pm and from 4pm to 8pm. In particular, there are 4 masses on Sunday. The Basilica, being the oldest in Gallura and being historically very important, is closed from 1pm to 4pm to allow people to rest and take the day off. As you said, nobody was around. We hope to return to Olbia and to visit the Basilica to discover its secrets and its wonders. We are at your disposal.

General Sardinia is a wonderful island for vacation and enjoyment of natural beauty and historical sights. I was located in Olbia and from there every day going around island. Olbia is a delightful Mediterranean town with a lot of wonderful people, beaches and flowers! I'm sure I'll come again to Sardinia to Olbia.

A beautiful Romanesque church. Beautiful blind arcading on the outside walls. On the inside a not so typical 12th century church, as it has three naves. There are wonderful Norman columns and capitals with human and rams heads. What is unique is that it is building material is granite. A wonderful warm feeling.

Nothing to see a old church small, nothing special about it. Went there because theres nothing in olbia to see. To sum it up. Whole of olbia is not worth visiting, boring, hard to find places, the beaches etc. Italian resturaunt n cafes not all but majority have no service i mind, not a smile or welcome back etc. Only good beaches here in this place.

Small, simple building which looks to have been renovated over the years. Set on top of some steps and gardens but didn't really see the point of seeing this. It was all over in 2 minutes. Pitch black inside and nothing to see anywAy. Boring.

A small and nice church not far from the downtown, right in front of the church is a place to gather, nice, clean and tidy.

if you have time go for it, but do not make a special detour. In Europe there are so many churchs and this one is far away to be the most beautiful

First of all it is not a church but a Minor Basilica. Second must not be the most beautiful but transmit history and identity. From how he writes it is easy to understand that he has no idea how the Romanesque was born and its meaning. Happy holidays 😊
