Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This beach was recommended to us by the market traders at Mercato di San Benedetto. It is clearly a local favourite, and for good reason! The beach is beautiful, secluded and, even in August, not too busy. It also marks the entrance to the hike to the top of the Sella del Diavolo, a fun way to spend the cooler parts of the day, with a beautiful view at the top.

But be warned! This beach does not have many facilities! It is served by one food stand, which serves very simple sandwiches and drinks. There are two restaurants nearby for a more formal lunch, but the takeaway options are limited. Definitely visit - you cannot miss this in Cagliari - but perhaps bring a picnic!

It's small and dirty. Only bus number 11 goes there, but it turns out that it has a rather complicated schedule, so for some reason Google maps won't even tell you to take it.
I only went there to hike to the devil's saddle, which is a great experience!

Nothing special but yet beautiful. This was one of the first beaches we cruised in Sardinia. Everything was closed in the end of april and noone was there. There were a lot of abandoned cats though, sad thing for an animal lover.

It's a small, crowed beach with nothing to do except queuing of front of the bar, where the service is slow. It is like a lake, no waves at all. Boring, all the sea fun is lost without the waves. The water is freezing cold! Go to Cyprus, Paphos, Coral bay or Spain, Malaga or Castellón city beaches instead!

This is a delightful beach - during the week the bus doesn't take you all the way there but the walk is around 15 minutes and worth it! There is a small bar as well.

Calamosca Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in the city of Calgary if not in Sardinia. Away from settlements with crystal clear water, it offers complete enjoyment of nature, sun, and seawater.

The only interesting thing is that is “in town”. Otherwise too small, not clean, not so transparent water (not polluted, but not fantastic nice), too rocky, uninteresting bar...

For us this is the type of beach we enjoy resting and switching off on for a few hours.

Poetto is too commercial for us but others will enjoy it.

The previous reviews of Calamosca say it all but if you get the chance (we cycled up) to a little further up the hill, passed the hotel, to a small restaurant/terrace named ‘La Paillote’. Worth it for the views alone!

Nice, little beach. Completely different than Poetto beach. Out of touristic places. Takes a nice walk with scenic views of the local hills to get to the beach, but it is effort worth to take.

Lots of locals here enjoying the sand and warm waters. Easy access, pleasant place to go at the end of the day while the sun still high enough.
