Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This beautiful church is one of the main historical tourist attraction of Cagliary. It’s located in the Castello district, so easy to find it. It was built in 14th century, so it’s one of the oldest church in Sardinia. It’s very popular. We liked it both outside and inside. It has a rich interior. It’s worth a visit.

Beautiful cathedral, very ornate, well preserved and a great spot for getting away from the heat outside. The signs are very helpful in explaining the different features and history. It accepts voluntary donations.

San Michele is located at the end of via Azuni, 5min walk from Piazza Yenne and seems to be a more prosperous church, otherwise would not have so many beggars in front of it disturbing the beauty and calm of the church.

Inside, the church is an oasis of peace and the main altar has the usual majesty that characterises the Sardegnian churches.

Interesting building from the outside. We could not get inside the time/day we were there. It is next door to the hospital.

You could spend an hour or more here even if you are not a religious person. It is full of historical artefacts and is located in a wonderful square. A really good place to walk around even if you only have a few minutes.

Just inside a city gate and just around the corner from the superb botanic gardens. Nice volunteer told us about this Jesuit church. Real highlight is the spiral marble columns in the chapels. Free in. Donation given

Definitely worth a trip. Camouflaged
up a side street this beautiful church serves as an oasis against the sweltering heat of Cagliari. It is so calm and peaceful inside with beautiful paintings on the ceilings.

Very ornate inside with tremendous art work all around. Volunteers provide free guided tours of the interior with information in a number of languages. A must-see, better than the cathedral.

This church isn't always open , so we had to wait after passing it most days near our accommodation. Finally one morning the doors were open so we popped in to see what all the fuss was about ( mentioned in many travel guides and local papers) . From the outside it is the usual bland exterior that hides the stunning interior and stunning it is . For such a small church on a back street it belies it's glory. The pictures show it off well and it is worth a visit while you wander round the stampace area . Enjoy .
