Poetto is a lovely sandy beach. Easily reached by local bus. There are plenty of bars, restaurants you can choose to eat or drink. But beware that it can become very busy at the weekend and catching the bus back into Cagliari proved very difficult...More

Beautiful beach, great choice of bars and restuarants! You can hire pedlo boats and do go windsurfing! Not too busy with tourists however we went outside of UK school holiday time! Bus stop too minutes walk away which travels to cagliari city centre!

This is a lovely beach which stretches for miles. The sand is fine and soft. It's not within walking distance of Cagliari and is best reached by car, bus or taxi.

Such a fabulous beach with great views. There are some great bars and restaurants and if you are lucky you'll get to see the flamingos fly over late afternoon!

Easily accessible by bus from Cagliari bus station on Via Roma. Journey takes about 20 minutes. €1.30 if ticket bought before boarding or €1.70 from the driver. Very long stretch of beach with lots of cafes for refreshments and comfort stops.
