Calming place near the centre

Many different trees, cacti, flowers, some clattering water ... Good for a stroll or a quiet hour of reading.

We spent an enjoyable couple of hours wandering around the Botanical Gardens in Cagliari as part of a day out. It is amazing to see so many of what we class as house plants in their own setting as an outdoor plant achieving their full size. Good ethos behind the College that is set up within the grounds. We didn't... More

this botanical garden is a delight. Well maintained and so cool in the hot sun as it offers so much shade. The best bit is the Roman cistern which echoes and it so big. There are loads of different trees and plants - we spent well over two hours there. Shame the museum was not open

We spent hours in these gardens as they were so quiet and relaxing. After admiring the plants we sat on one of the (many) benches reading and watching other people

I very much enjoyed this Garden, on a warm autumn day, and during a break from visiting the historical attractions in the area. It has a good collection of various plants with some really good thematic sections. Lots of locals were there during that time so it seems to be a popular and relaxing place for many others as well.

A great botanical park for a reasonable price. Entry is €4 per adult. Amazing diversity of plants. If it is a really hot day then you can enjoy the coolness of certain areas within the park, or just the shade from the amazing trees.

This is one of Italy's best/most diverse botanical gardens. There are also some small Roman ruins within the garden. It has the widest cactus and succulents I have ever seen. This is a great place to cool down on a hot day and to get out of the touristy areas.

A calming oasis in the middle of the city and with fine views of the Roman Ampitheatre. Main exhibits clearly labelled and helpful and welcoming staff at the kiosk - interesting walkway with plants mentioned in the bible with references!
