Wow!! Definitely recommend going up to the top of Basione di Saint Remy for an amazing view of the sunset!!! Amazing views of the city all round, but at sunset.... Wow!!

Unfortunately it was fenced off for repair when we visited but it's a great photo shot & you can grab a coffee or light lunch in surrounding area.

The main stairs are under reconstruction, but the Bastione can be accessed from other side (we took a street on the left side) and then walked up to the highest level of the Bastione. The view from up there is very nice.

This was a great place - not just to look at, but behind the front you could get up to the top and have a great view over the city! Amazing!

A very nice open space on the top. Good views. Worth a visit. Point to note is that there is a lift to take you back to street level on the left of the site.

This particular construction of Cagliari in the Piazza Costituzione, is a good point to start the visit at Castello.
