This is one of the largest towers that were part of Alghero’s defensive walls. It is currently closed for renovations. Great views of the waterfront from this area. There is also a display of artillery from several periods.

This is a lovely locale, the tower lending gravitas to a sunset walk. It's in good shape and they've made the surrounding area a good place to wander and see the other historic war bits. Make it your sunset plan.

The tower itself is nothing special, but as a higher elevation with a commanding view, it's great. You can see the coastline, the harbor, the harbor piazza, the piazza inside the walls and the walls, and the rest of the town. Pretty much a 360...More

Another great example of the fortification that protected this city. Translated as the tower of exile, right on the coastal wall looking out over the Capo Caccia cliffs. Close to a busy interchange with plenty of bars and restaurants around.

This tower at the sea integrated into the wall and on the place Sulis is an important tower of Alghero.
