We walked inside and me and the kids were taken aback. This cathedral is something you should see to believe- simply stunning architecture and building - highly recommend even for a 5 minute visit!

The cathedral is really nice and puts off a certain vibe, however we could not clim the tower, as the access to it was closed. Still worth a visit

Tucked away in the old town of Alghero the Cathedral is well worth a visit. Not massive, or overly impressive, but pay the 3 Euros to go up the tower for an amazing view of the city. There was also a guide up there who...More

Although not religious we found the cathedral well worth a visit. The architecture is interesting and it is not over-ornate. There was an organ recital when we visited which was very pleasant

the organist was practising when we went in - so atmospheric and peaceful and authentic, even in the heart of the tourist district of the old town.

Sometimes when you walk through it the chorus will be practicing and it sounds beautiful. The architecture and details were so nice and it made me feel like going to mass. Loved it.
