Lovely beach. Beautiful views. As within walking distance of Alghero very crowded. If quiet would have got 5 stars.

Went here because it was closer to our BnB in central Alghero. The sand was white and the water clear and calm. Very little waves if at all. It was slightly crowded but still enjoyable.

A nice beach backed by a pine forest. Water is shallow a long way out and very calm. There are a few restaurants and bars on the beach as well as sunbeds and umbrellas to hire (think it was €18 a pair for the day)....More

The beach is near town of Alghero, well connected by bus. The large pine forest is the best part, you can enjoy shade all day long, but authorities brought new law forbidding to use parts of woods. It is surprisingly crowded for middle of June....More

Luckily I bought hotel next to Maria Pia beach which is much nicer than dirty city beach in Alghero town centre. It is located close to the enchanting forrest and has few restaurants and deckchair points. It was very busy as Italians just started school...More

Maria Pia is big enough to not feel too crowded, even on a hot saturday in June. We rented chairs but you really don’t have to if you don’t prefer it. Plenty of space, shadow close to the trees and beutiful views towards Capo Caccia.

Beach is really nice. Sand is very thin. Entrance of beach is close to main road where you can park your car. Only problem is there were a lot of African people who are trying to sell stuff make you feel uncomfortable.
