This beach is one of the best beaches near Alghero. 1200 meters long with excellent views of Fertilia, Alghero bay and the tiny island Isola della Maddalenetta 1.5 kilometers off the coast. The backdrop is of beautiful sand dunes and a shady pine forest ideal...More

The beach is beautiful with it's fine white sand and the pines. Very nice when it is windy to be behind the dunes or under the trees in the shadow. Fantastic views too.

Lovely scenic beach, hidden behind a pine forest. People sunbathing and some swimming in the middle of October. Close to Alghero, some 30 minutes walking from the harbor.

We stumbled across this when walking from Alghero. The beautiful pine forest (which is a delight to meander through) leads to the beach which is beautiful. White sand and turquoise blue water. You can walk right along the beach which I would highly recommend.

Worth the extra few steps to this beach. The dunes mean that the sand is better than on the main lido. There's protection under trees too if you don't want to hire umbrella and two beds (8euro for half day). Supplies in bar, and toilet...More
