Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A place you cannot miss, located in the center of Vicenza! The architecture of the Palladio brand, transforms this place into an original landscape that you will not forget and that you will probably associate with the image of Vicenza. It is worth visiting both during the day and in the evening!

Large, Lively Piazza, especially around lunch and dinner. Fronts the Palladio Basilica, and has a number of restaurants, the central clock tower, and some shops. Get up on the middle or upper loggia of the Basilica Palladio for a great view!

Piazza dei Signori (Square of the Lords) is the main square of this little gem of a town, Vicenza. During the Roman Empire it was the center of markets and exchange of commercial business, as well as one the main strolling areas of the citizenship.

This is the beautiful city of VICENZA, in Veneto, North East of the Italian peninsula. Piazze dei Signori is fantastic.

It's a lovely walk with beautiful architechture and scenery; Thursday morning is Market Day and the 2nd Sunday of the month is antique market. Lots of Bars to have coffee or wine. Beautiful parks to sit and people watch. Close to train - 1 hour from Venice and 45 minutes from Verona.

While visiting the city I was only able to go out and visit at night.
One of the nights it was raining heavily. I went for a walk around the city and when I stumbled upon the piazza I was amazed how beautiful it was in the rain.
The reflection from the wet stone was awesome.
I recommend visiting at night in the rain.

The Piazza dei Signori is in the center of Vicenza and is a great location for all of the local markets and events. You can check online for the various markets, but the antiques markets and food markets are always exceptionally good. Be prepared to walk there (it is in the centro storico / zona pedonale) historic center/pedestrian zone. Worth taking the time to see it and it is located to many other historic locations in downtown Vicenza.

This is just a lovely, peaceful place to visit. In the daytime there are numerous shops and cafe's/bars to grab an espresso or a gelato. In the evening you can climb the stairs and visit the bar on top, I can't remember if there is an admission fee, but there is no fee to wander about under the arches. Piazza dei Signori is in the center of Vicenza, and there are lots of shops along the avenue. The Cathedral/Duomo is magnificent, do make sure you take the stairs adjacent to the altar and visit the room downstairs where the tombs of the bishops lie, there is also a small altar. Across from the room is a plexiglass wall, where you can see the remains of the archeological dig, and I believe the foundations of the old church. This can be accessed by crossing the street to the Museo Diocesano, paying a small fee, visiting the museum and accessing the passage under the street to the church. Another place not to miss is the Criptoportico. All in all there are many lovely places to visit in Vicenza on foot. The trainstation is a short walk from the center, and from there you can go anywhere your fantasies and desires take you.

I think I fell in love in Vicenza, this plaza is a quaint little place to enjoy the town and the evening. The roof of the Basilica has a very nice terrace to enjoy a drink and the evening. Who would have known it was even up there if we weren't being shown around by some locals. Such a fun night of great friends to cherish forever!

Buona visita!
