this is quite an impressive gate, although you cannot visit it. If you walk from the railway station into verona, which is not far, you will pass by this.

I believe this was the original gate into Verona. No matter, it is a very pretty gate and one that is worth several photos. A nice sight of the city.

This magnificant gateway was part of the outter city walls from middle ages. Very thick and dominant-looking structure. Nowdays near the autostrada and you get to go through it on your way to the inner city.

Well, it is an original gateway to the city of Verona. It stands in the middle of a roundabout and is inaccessible. Looks good and of great architectural value. No more to add.
