Fantastic property with vines/vineyard, farm and production and hotel/restaurant. Recommends the tour of the vineyard and the production around it. We got 5 different red wines and 1 spumante when we sat down outside after the tour. Lovely side dish with various types of cured meats and cheeses. The guide was knowledgeable. Great atmosphere with a nice view over all of Verona. Would love to come back another time. We took a taxi up there and it didn't cost too much.

We visited Corte San Mattia for the 4pm vineyard tour and had such a lovely afternoon. Our tour guide was great, answered all of our questions and gave us lots of information about the vineyard and the process. The tasting was delicious - the wine as well as the cheese and other produce. After the tasting, we were able to explore the grounds and see the goats and chickens. The whole vineyard is so beautiful, with incredible views of the city!

We got the 70 bus from Ponte Pietra to the vineyard, which was great on the way there. However, on the way back the bus didn’t show up so we had to walk back to Verona, which was quite tiring in the heat. Other than this, everything was amazing!!

Really lovely and knowledgable tour guide, a simple but informative guide of the vineyard, cellar and wine process was given, then we were taken to a beautiful garden with breathtaking views of Verona, where we tasted the wines together with a charcuterie/cheese board. Our guide was funny and friendly, and we would definitely recommend this tour. The 95 bus from Verona was €3pp return from Verona centre, which we highly recommend as the walk would have been quite treacherous with steep slopes and lack of pavement at times. Service at the bar after the tour lacked, and took a while.

Can’t recommend this highly enough, it was the highlight of our stay in Verona. It is a small independent winery, and the enthusiasm and knowledge of our guide really shown through. The vineyard and views of Verona are absolutely stunning. The wine tasting also included a cheese and charcuterie board, and we ended up chatting to the other couples on the tour and drinking wine on the terrace for several hours after the tour ended. One tip - get a taxi up the hill, then take a leisurely walk back down afterwards. It is not worth trying to walk up!

This is a small local organic Vienna vineyard which takes 20 mins and €20 in a taxi. The tour was in small groups with a knowledgeable guide who was very happy to answer questions and wanted to engage the group. The setting, food and wine were excellent. We booked the 4pm tour and we’re still happily taking in the panoramic view of the city and sipping wine at 6.30. Great value, very relaxed - we loved it.

This vineyard tour and wine tasting was recommended by our hotel. We paid 45 euros per head with dinner included and it was great value. Just a small vineyard but the wine is delicious with stunning views down to Verona. There was no choice in the menu for dinner but that didn't matter as the food was excellent. We took a taxi there but walked back through the olive trees. Highly recommended!!

We picked up an unassuming leaflet at the tourist info for this wine tasting and vineyard tour, and have to say that, at €10, the quality was astounding. There's an easy bus ride up the hillside from Verona (number 95), and the place has a stunning panorama of the city below.

Giovanni walked us around the vineyard and the tour was very relaxed and friendly (he speaks excellent English and communicates a real passion for his craft). After that we tasted six wines and he talked us through them. Excellent quality.

We had also booked lunch (the San Mattia Agritourismo is the same building) and were served a superb tasting menu. Can't praise this enough. Top quality wines, excellent food, friendly staff, stunning view.

If you're in Verona don't miss out on this.

The wine tasting and vineyard tour was amazing. It provided a great insight into the way that regional wines work in Italy, and a basic overview of the wine making process - perfect for beginners!

The wine was excellent and the guide was passionate and knowledgeable. The outlook was absolutely gorgeous and the whole estate was well managed and picturesque.

It was a highlight of Verona.

We had a great time. The tour and tasting were really good, but the views were awesome! I would definitely recommend this if you have a couple of extra hours in your schedule and want to do something near Verona city center.

Well worth the walk up the hill! Stunning views, great guide, delicious platter & really good wine tasting. So good infact, that we walked up again a day later to have lunch 😂 (2 out of 4 days in Verona!) Unfortunately it was shut for a wedding (amazing venue!) but they allowed us to sit out front with a glass (or 2! Of wine). Would definitely come back again if we’re ever back in Verona!
