Castle San Pietro is a must see for Verona. You get panoramic views of Verona, which is stunning. If you can't stand the thought of all those steps you can take the cable car (funicolare) to the top for 2 euros and walk down (or...More

Loved it up here. Go in the morning as it is empty and the lights falls across the city just perfectly for stunning photos. Recommended

The walk is little effort for such a great view, although it's quite steep so not good for limited mobility. You can't go in the castle, and it's not much to see from the outside, which means it's a trip for a very small portion...More

Well worth the short walk up the hill. The views over Verona are just stunning. If you can't manage the short walk up the steps there is a funicular you can get to take you up

This is the place from where you can enjoy observing the whole city with its several towers and cathedrals. One of the places that left me the most vivid memories from the visit of the city!

Worth the climb to the top. There is a lift apparently if you need it but the walk is lovely. And what a view from the top. Stunning

It is very nice going up to the castle and its cheap to go on the fernicular (€2), but it is a real shame that you can't go inside the old castle. You do get a stunning view from up there though

This is worth a trip! You can either walk the slightly steep stairs up. or take the transport that costs €1 per person. We walked and it was not to bad. Coming up to the top was incredible. The view from the top is great....More

It is 300 metres and about 7 minutes to walk. I didn't count the steps though :-)
