Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Romanesque church very close to Ponte Pietra. Thanks to the volunteers, present from Friday to Sunday, I took a journey through time and art spanning several centuries. The monochromatic red ocher frescoes, San Pietro in Cattedra, the hidden garden, the crypt lost in time... a unique experience to be lulled by peace and history.

I visited the church in September 2018, during the project "Verona minor hierusalem". The church is not big but it is a pleasant surprise. A very nice and worked Chappell on the side and also some remaining from frescoes, including one of the virgin breastfeeding Jesus. Nice cript on the underground worth a visit as well.
Side note for a young man called Mathia that spoke good English and took me around the church and explained me many things. Very interesting chat!

Chiesa di Santo Stefano is a beautiful church on the other side of the river. It was not open and has very limited visiting hours.

A gorgeous little church just across from the funicular station. Understated, beautiful and peaceful with a lovely garden at the back. The frescoes inside were amazing as it’s so old.

The church, like most of them in verona, are closed most of the day and open just a few hours!!!
It's a shame!!!
And this one at least has the opening time published!....

Just across Ponte di Pietra, very close to Roman theatre: it's difficult to say whether this little church is more fascinating outside or inside. A purest Romanesque architecture, well kept with some touching frescoes. One of the best monuments to see in Verona

Immediately after the Stone Bridge we find ourselves in front of this church which has very ancient origins. Much of the current structure dates back to the 5th century. It was built over a pagan temple.
