We visited Verona by train from Venice. The Tower was amazing..good value at €5 each. We walked up the steps although there is a lift! The views are amazing and well worth the climb.

This is a very inexpensive trip to get the best views of the city. There is a lift which covers 90% of the height and the views from the top make the final climb well worth it. Choose a clear day.

We were disappointed that this site was closed till late October so we missed going inside. it certainly looked fabulous from the outside. Just check the internet before you decide about coming here.

Spectacular tower next to two main squares of the city. The building beneath it is placing a school which is a bit awkward but very interesting to be seen.

We climbed to the top of this fine bell tower to look out over Verona. Fantastic views and a great way to orientate yourself with the city.

As always with the towers in Italy, or anywhere in Europe, as we get older a lift is helpful. So here you have a choice - knee crucifying stairs or the ascensore. Views amazing and a must do.

Not expensive but free with the Verona card and as far as I could ascertain is the only place to get a view over the city. The big bell rings where you are on the hour and the half hour. Be prepared.
