    Secondary to the ampitheatre/arena
The entrance was a bit confusing - coming down from the Castel San Pietro there was a gate that was locked with signs about entrance with a cabin next to it, but you need to continue another couple of minutes down the road to a modern building entrance. Inside, I found this much less impressive than the arena. It is set up for concerts and events which obscures much of the view.

    Great location on the river
A lot of the theatre itself was covered with scaffolding as it was being prepared for a production. Bit of a shame but you could see enough to enjoy the marvellous design from 2 centruries ago. From a strange Bond style elevator you get to the main museum full of local roman artefacts that is very interesting indeed.

    Very good
It’s a great theatre , it’s well preserved and you really get a feel for the shape and size plus inside the musuem itself they have a great and wide ranging types of roman artifacts. Definitely worth a visit for the price and especially if you have verona pass.

As you cross Ponte Pietra you can see the theatre and Castel San Pierta on the hillside. Unfortunately most of Roman theatre was having work done to it so we could only see some of it over the fences. Even with the fences the whole hillside us worth a visit

Didn’t realise you had to pay to visit here. Had a quick look round the corner and it had loads of scaffolding up and building works going on so we decided not to bother. Pretty disappointing as it was one of the things I was most looking forward to seeing.

This was my favourite place in Verona!
Just wow!! So well organised, so much to see. Lots of different bits about Verona’s history, so interesting.
Also the view from inside the museum is amazing!
Included in the Verona card, for me way better then the arena and less busy!

A smaller Arena than the main one in the city. Nice to visit but don't forget to go to the museum behind when visiting. If the stairs are too much then there is a lift at the back of the top of the arena and it is an easy walk down.

After you ride up the Funicolare and admire the views, the ampitheatre is on the street as you exit. You can sit and imagine the performances that were once had on the banks of the river Adige.

There were no crowds and I was able to walk at a leisurely pace and take some great photos. Then I got to the museum and wished that I had more time to spend there.

Even though this is over the bridge it is well worth the walk. You have to go up a few flights of steps to get to the museum but it holds some beautiful mosaics and sculptures. I would recommend going here . It is not on the top list of attractions and is a bit hidden away but it is a gem worth visiting.

Due to the construction of the museum, it now only takes 1euro to get in. It's 10minutes climbing on top, and you will have a stunning view of Verona!
