If you are fed up with the churches in Italy, or you just dont like to see anyone...There will be one, that you should go. It is San Fermo. And you will see two churches! Because there are really two churches, one upper one. It is very interesting attraction. You can see how the centuries went and how people built... More

Don't be put off by the slightly decrepit exterior, this is well worth a visit. Wonderful frescoes and art work throughout but the lower church was the highlight for us with its original 11th century layout and frescoes covering the columns.

Amazing wooden ceiling, worth the visit just to see that. Other parts also beautiful and interesting. I saw 3 completely different churches in Verona, all worth visiting because they are so different and all so beautiful

This is the fourth of the churches you can see for six euros and, like the other three, it is well worth a visit. It consists of an upper and a lower church; make sure you visit both. The ceiling is particularly interesting, but other fascinating features are discussed in the leaflet available at the entrance.

We took a guided tour in Verona and it was one of places that impressed me a lot. The church is very beautiful, but when you look up and see the wooden ceiling – this is when you get the WOW factor. I’ve never seen anything like that before. What a construction!!! It’s one of the must things to see... More

The soft colors, light, colored stones, awesome ceiling and shape of the unique altarpiece give this church an other-worldly presence.

Very interesting , worth the visit and small entrance fee. The ceiling is exceptional, the church underneath has a very special atmosphere.

Suggest visiting this first of the 4 main churches of art. Amazing pieces of fabric to see in one of the side chapels - go see won't say more!

Dedicated to two Christian martyrs, this church gives an insight into the price early Christians paid for the spread of their religion. It reminds of the fact that Italy wasn't always full of churches.
