It's a lovely place to visit if you want to view the city from the river. Gorgeous both during the day and at night, and a great place to take photos at sunset. Pay attention to the stones you can see the fossils in a lot of them.

The white stones are from the original bridge. This is a photographer's delight. You can see the Roman Theater across the river and the Castello San Pietro. The bridge and scenery all around it are beautiful.

Great photo opportunities on this bridge and it leads over to Piazzale Castel San Pietro which has the best views of the city .

A beautiful bridge that provides loads of great photo opportunities, both from on it or with it as a backdrop.

It's an old bridge with great view on castel and Teatro Romano and connects it with the old town. Have to visit it by walking around Verona.

We walked across this pedestrian bridge -- the oldest in Verona -- en route to the Roman theatre on the Adige River's east bank. Midway along the 5-arch Roman span, we stopped to look at the raging river, the city and the defensive tower at the bridge's head. That went up in 1298, well after the first bridge, likely made... I love to walk through in summer to enjoy sun fall, the atmosphere of the place looking at either the Roman Theatre or upriver is unique. The bridge takes you in the heart of ancient Verona and you'll love also the restaurants on the river side, some of them have real exclusive balconies. If you're in town cannot miss this... More
