It dates back to at least the 1st century AD. Be sure to check out both sides! Very ornate going into the old town but plain on the opposite side.

One of the oldest walkways i Verona - Porta ( meaning Door) dei Borsari ( of handbags) as in the olden days it was a road on which they sold only handbags ! Very posh ...i the centre of town !
