Very unique architecture and tombs. We only walked by to view and did not go inside the gates or the church. Would not pay for a tour, but simply look up info about the place online if interested.

These tombs sit above ground - perhaps to show that they were above everyone else? The detail in the carvings is stunning and intricate!

Interesting ruins near the historic Erbe Square and the house of Juliet. I only looked at them from outside.

Completely free to see, this small square has some architectural ruins on display in the city centre, behind iron gates. Clearly visible all round, it's worth a stop for photos.

Historic burial of three generations of a ruling Verona family. Picturesque site near Piazza Erbe, Torre da Lambertini, and House of Guillett.

This interesting architectural monument is unfortunately overlooked in favor of Shakespeare's notorious play, Romeo and Juliet, although it is an actual piece of Verona's history. The tombs are located in the historical center and are very easy to find.

Worth seeing if you're in Verona. The Arche Scaligere sits above the walking area so you don't get up close to it but the architecture is very interesting.
