It's no wonder that this is one of the most historic and picturesque squares in Italy: in antiquity, it served as a Roman forum; today, it contains many historic buildings, sculptures with a popular and colorful market overflowing with fresh fruits and vegetables.

this is a very lovely Verona's spot but I really wonder why the local administration allows the cheap rubbishy tourist market to spoil the view of this classy piazza. The stalls that sell Asia made junk should be replaced by something more appropriate to the...More

Great place to people watch, eat, drink, or shop. The market has many things made in italy, but a bit touristy. Not far from Juliet's balcony.

I preferred this one to Bra. The buildings are great that surround it, and it is crowded, but not as much as Bra. The market is pretty much for tourists. Good to just walk around and enjoy the views and people watch for a moment....More

My hotel window looked out upon this delightful plaza. Lot of market stalls every day with usual tourist gifts. Many restaurants for fast food that were ideal for lunchtime snacks. Very beautiful plaza with lots of historical buildings neither superb architecture and a bell tower.
