A peaceful church not doubt. The walk from Arsenal is well worth it too and the Paladino facade is impressive. the inside I did not find particularly impressive

We stayed in the area near this church, as the door was open when I was walking past I decided to take look inside. The church is large and interesting, the whole front of the church was taken up by a life size nativity scene...More

If you have done all the major tourist sites of Venice, a visit to this church is well worthwhile. There are two cloisters, and when we were there we were all alone. In the campo outside the church there is a most interesting colonnade with...More

A very remarkable church, with a beautiful Palladian façade, in a quiet square, with a nice cloister just beside. Simple and proportioned temple indoors, the surroundings of San Francesco da Vigna are one of its charms, this a quiet area of the city full of...More

This interesting church with a tall tower is located in a relatively quiet part of town, but still easily accessible on foot from the main tourist areas. The tower is really quite high and can be seen for some distance around. Worth a look.

I hadn't planned to visit this church; I was just wandering around and I found it. It is a very beautiful church, peaceful and quiet with a lovely cloister next to it. I really enjoyed it, goes without saying that it was free of charge!

Castello is the largest of the six sestieri

one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime
