Venice Events is a British-Italian company based in the heart of Venice, founded in 1995. Over the years of familiarity with this country and its culture, our team have built up extensive experience in organising wide range of events: Tours, cultural excursions, private customized tours in Veneto and Friuli, transfers, wine tastings, weddings, honeymoons, romantic breaks, conferences and more, both in Venice and throughout Italy.

All Tours, unless specified, are operated by Venice Events! We operate all our own tours, you book with us, you travel with us! That's not true for the majority of websites on the internet that are actually selling other company's tours.

No standing-in-line to see the must-see attractions of Italy!

Venice Events makes reservations and pre-books tickets so you will never have to spend your vacation standing-in-line to see the must-see sights of Italy. Venice Events regularly reserve spaces for their clients to enter ahead of the public lines.

Fully Licensed Guides, Fully Licensed Drivers & Vehicles

We prefer to offer the best tours we can offer, with professional guides who have backgrounds in Art & History, who have dedicated their lives to provide clients with memories that will last them a lifetime, and who have the ability to entertain all members of the family.

Carnivale Walking Tour

Great tour leader who took us on an interesting wander around Casanova's haunts. Lovely tea and cake too.

It takes a day or two to find your way around the maze, so take a map. Lots to see and experience in Venice. Walking is the best way to get around, or the water taxi, unless you have a boat of course.

Not what was sold. No comic a tors, neither chocolate, no harpiste and no visit. The personnel told us that a woman décided to change the formula for a formal dancing évent. We left after one hour vers disapointed abd it was far from Plaza San Marco! Lost 200 Euros! However guided tour of Carnaval was vers interesting. The other... More

I would just like to let you know how much we enjoyed this tour. It was lovely to get away from the usual areas of Venice and to discover some of the history of this amazing city. Our guide Lorenzo made it all the more enjoyable with his entertaining and knowledgeable dialogue and has inspired me to learn more.

Over the years we have experienced several wonderful outings in Venice arranged by Venice Events and all have been great. During the recent Carnival in Venice one of our Venice Events outings was a wine tasting. We enjoyed two white and two red wines accompanied by small bites of very tasty foods. The young man leading the tasting was very... More

Our meeting point was easy to reach. The tour was well organised and the leader was interesting, fun and knowledgable. Really worth the money.

Very disappointing, and not very good value for money. We are frequent visitors to Venice, and we thought this walking tour would help us find out more about the city and the famous Casanova. We didn't, maybe you would find it more interesting if you were a first time visitor to Venice

We wanted to take a gondola ride on one of the back canals...we were on the "street" that comes off of the Rialto Bridge walking away from the Grand Canal to the east (??) About a block or so was a nice, quiet canal....with several gondoleers. All were very polite and helpful. We agreed on a very acceptable price for... More

Staying in San Marco

Neighbourhood Profile
San Marco
The most famous sestiere (district) in Venice has one of the world's most famous squares, St. Mark's (Piazza San Marco). Anchored on one end by the basilica, clustered around it are restaurants, museums, shops, orchestras playing in the square, pigeons, the grand pink Doge’s Palace (Palazzo Ducale), the soaring campanile bell tower, an astrological clock tower, plus gorgeous cafes and restaurants like Florian and Quadri. Piazza San Marco is beloved by Venetians themselves. They book a table anytime, which offers a buffer from the fray. This grand outdoor drawing room attracts Venetians for a stroll too, especially late in the afternoon when the hoards of daytrippers thin out. It's simply a grand place to meet.
