A significantly better option than the touristy gondola ride. Firstly, Slex’s gonfola is newly renovated and a far cry from the tacky and somewhat tired looking ones taking tourists around. It was €140 for a full hour for four though she can make it six...More

The tour took us through the narrow canals throughout Venice. Amazing how some of the buildings look well kept and others are falling apart with concrete cancer and lack of fresh paint. Generally run down and in need of a good facelift, to continue to...More

The whole experience was great! Booking via email is normally annoying but Alex responded so quickly that it wasn't an issue. The ride started on time and Alex took us away from the million other gondolas which is so important. Otherwise you're just stuck in...More

When you imagine a gondola ride in Venice, you imagine a happy "driver", ours was the absolute opposite, more interested in having his cigarette than chatting to us. When we got on the boat I wanted to sit with my fiance, but he would not...More

Definitely recommend taking this quintessential Venetian experience. It was fun going through the narrow canals and passing under the bridges. The boatman has to duck for many of them. It's also fun as people on the shore or bridge are waving at you. You also...More
