Our little group of 4 attended the concert by the Interpreti Veneziani on Easter Monday,2017 and though the 4 of us had varying degrees of musical knowledge and understanding, we all unequivocally enjoyed the performance and thought it was a perfect way to spend an...More

In Chiesa di San Vidal you will find the most accomplished musicians, playing Vivaldi (mostly). We went for the Four Seasons, but went on the "wrong" day and sat through a performance quite unlike any other we have seen or heard! It was superb. The...More

We found this show by chance as we passed the front of the Chiesa di San Vidal. The surroundings, the care of the building, the sculptures, paintings and the instruments that are exposed, give a unique setting to enjoy good music. The musicians share and...More

Not connoisseurs of classical music but we thoroughly enjoyed both the settings and the string ensemble and their music. Would highly recommend this experience.

I've listened to loads of live music over the years, albeit not classical, however this goes up there with the best of them. It was hairs on the back of the neck sort of listening and the players/performers where of the highest order. There was...More

It isn't often one encounters such professionalism and such universal virtuosity in eight musicians. Chatting with the lone female member of the ensemble, I asked her how they manage to play night after night and still deliver such passion and energy in their performance. She...More

What could be more wonderful than listening to Vivaldi in Venice? Perhaps throw in snow falling as you walk back to your hotel buzzing from the experience - and we got that too!

This was a crowning finale to my lavish Venetian escapade, truly enchanting to listen to Vivaldi's timeless masterpieces (Four Seasons was, of course, the main show) in the place where it was meant to be enjoyed, la Serenissima. The Interpreti are a dynamic, fascinating ensemble...More

Maybe it's good if you are listening to class music for the first time in your life but for those whom it's a habit the concert was disappointing. We did not expect anything special from it from the beginning but there were so many false...More

Are the Interpreti Veneziani concerts given every night, 365 days a year? Are there regular months or days of the week that they do NOT perform?

I sincerely do not know. when we were in Venice in September, there were multiple concerts during the week. However this musical group gives also concerts outside Venice, so they do not perform 365 days per year.

We made a reservation, via VIATOR, for Interpreti Veneziani Concert in Venice Including Music Museum (7100MUSICA) for the date of 25th, July, 2016. We understand that the tour includes the Music Museum and afterwards the Concert. The Voucher mentions that San Maurizio Church ( the Music Museum ) closes at 7:00 PM. The concert starts at 9:00 PM. It is NOT mentioned where do we meet and if the Tour includes a Guide, or we should make it by our own. Does anybody know how this would work ?

Does anyone know how the seating works? What time would we have to arrive to get a good seat? Our show is on a Friday night at 9pm.

No seat booking available - just arrive early (30-40 mins?) and queue up outside. When the doors open go to your preferred area. We were on the front row and though the seats weren't comfy who cares? The canvas seats are... More
