Its hard not to get a culture overload with all of the beautiful architecture in Venice but its definitely worth the short Vaperetto trip across the Canal from St Marks to see this beautiful church.

Best from outside and famous landmark. Was right next to our accommodation. Inside not as amazing as we expected. All the glory is on the outside of building.

Got to the church in the afternoon by chance and thoughourly enjoyed the organ concert that is given daily. It was heavenly!

I think this is my favorite exterior of all the churches/basilicas in Venice...and often a string quartet will be playing Vivaldi one the pavement near the water in the fine weather. Just sit on the steps and take it all in!

This was a spectacular building right by the canal and well worth a visit to look up at the huge dome. Organ music playing when we were there which was very moving.

The church is open except sundays. We just walked in a dropped 2€ in the donation box

It is free entry. The treasury costs a few euros. Don't know about Chorus.

I was not aware of a dress code however I did notice that some people did cover their heads and shoulders were covered
